Privacy policy
Cadence is a content planning, publishing and reporting application designed, developed and operated by Chris Nagy (harmonics), Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Businesses use it privately to plan, review, schedule and publish their own marketing content. It is not a public service: only team members with an individual account can sign in.
Information Cadence handles
- Team account details: name, work email address, role and display preferences.
- Content the team creates: post copy, images, videos, schedules and review notes.
- Records of what was published, where and when, and basic sign-in activity.
The private Cadence application does not collect information from members of the public.
Website enquiries
If you request a Cadence information pack through this website, we collect your name, work email address, organisation and requirements to respond to your enquiry. These details are recorded in our private enquiry system and used to prepare your response. Website hosting, database and email providers process the details for this purpose. Requesting an information pack does not subscribe you to a mailing list. To ask for your enquiry details to be corrected or deleted, use our contact form.
Facebook, Instagram and other connected platforms
Cadence connects only to Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn Pages, Google Business Profiles and websites that each client business owns or manages. Through these connections it:
- publishes posts that the team has written and approved;
- confirms each account’s identity before publishing; and
- reads performance statistics for the business’s own posts, such as views, reach, reactions and comment counts.
Cadence does not read private messages, does not store the content of comments, and does not collect or store personal information about people who view or interact with those posts. Access tokens are kept server-side, encrypted where stored, and never shown in the app.
How information is used and shared
Information is used only to operate Cadence for the business that owns it. It is not sold, rented or used for advertising. It is stored with the application’s hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase), and sent to connected platforms only when publishing or reading statistics as described above. Some LinkedIn and Google Business Profile posts are delivered through Zapier using the business’s own connected accounts.
Retention and deletion
Deleted cards and library media are held in a bin for 60 days and then permanently removed. A team account can be closed at any time on request. To ask for information to be deleted, or for a connected Facebook or Instagram account to be disconnected, use our contact form. You can also remove Cadence’s access yourself in Facebook or Instagram under Settings → Apps and websites.
